Lay out the room for an event — sections, tables and fixtures like the stage and bar — from a template or by hand.
Start the plan
- Open the event, click the Seating tab and then Floor plan.
- On an empty plan, click Start from a template and pick a room: Banquet, Gala with VIP, Club night, Wedding, Conference, Themed party, Quinceañera / Sweet 16, Cocktail & networking, Dinner show or Outdoor festival. One may be marked Suggested for your event.
- Or pick one of This venue's layouts that you saved before.
A template or layout only fills an empty plan. Everything can be dragged, renamed and removed afterwards.
Draw it yourself
- Add section — an area such as VIP, the main floor or vendors. Give it a Section name, a Kind (General, VIP, Tier, Vendors or Staff) and a Colour.
- Add tables — set a Name prefix, where numbering starts (From), How many, Seats each, the Shape and the Section. Tables are laid out in a grid inside the section; names already in use are skipped.
- Add a fixture — Stage, Dance floor, Bar, DJ, Buffet, Entrance, Exit, Restrooms or a Note. Fixtures are drawn for orientation; nobody sits at them.
Drag sections and tables to move them, and drag a corner to resize a section. A table belongs to whichever section it stands in. Click anything to edit it in the panel on the right.
If tables were created elsewhere (for example from the guest list), the toolbar offers a button to place the unplaced tables on the plan.
Let guests choose
In a section's settings, turn on Guests choose their table and, if you like, set a Fee per seat (USD). See What guests see about their table.
Save and reuse
Click Save as venue layout and give it a Layout name. Any event at this venue can start from it; later changes to this event do not touch it.
Start over
Click Start over, then Clear and draw by hand or Clear and pick a template. This removes the event's sections, fixtures and tables; seated guests keep their invitations but lose their table. Saved venue layouts are not touched. It is blocked while any guest has paid for a seat on the plan.
