Their assigned table

Once you seat a guest (see Seat guests at tables and print cards), their invitation page shows Table with the table's name among the event details. The door also sees it on the scan.

Let guests pick their own table

  1. Draw the room on the event's Floor plan (see Draw the floor plan).
  2. Click a section and turn on Guests choose their table.
  3. Optionally set a Fee per seat (USD).

Sections that are open to guests show guests choose on your plan.

What the guest sees

On their invitation page, a Your table section shows the same map you drew, with the stage, bar and other fixtures for orientation. Tables they can choose are in colour; grey ones are full or not open.

  1. The guest taps Pick a table and chooses one.
  2. They confirm with Take this table.

The whole party sits at one table, so only tables with room for everyone can be chosen. Until the event starts they can Change table or Give it up.

Choosing closes when:

  • the event starts,
  • the guest has already checked in, or
  • you seat them yourself — they then see Assigned by the organiser.

The map does not appear while a required waiver is still waiting for the guest's acceptance; it shows once they accept.

Seat fees

If the section has a fee, the guest sees the total for their party and that it is paid at the venue. Nothing is charged online. When they pay, open the guest's menu on the seating board and mark the seat fee as paid. After that, the guest can no longer change their table themselves.
