Seat guests at tables and print cards
Assign parties to tables on the seating board, split a party when you need to, and print table cards, place cards and the seating chart.
Seat guests on the board
- Open the event, click the Seating tab and then Open the seating board.
- If you have no tables yet, type a Table name and optional seats, then click Add table.
- Drag a guest from Still to seat onto a table. While you drag, each table says whether the party fits.
From the keyboard, use Seat at… on a guest (or Move… once seated) and choose the table; Unseat takes them off.
Each table shows how many are seated against its seats; click the seat count to change it, or leave it empty for an uncounted table. Search the left column with Search guests, and hide or show guests who declined.
You can also type a table into a guest's Table column in the guest list — the table appears on the board on its own.
Seat everyone else at once
Click Auto-seat the rest, then Seat them. The biggest parties go first, each into the table with the most room that takes the whole party. Nobody is split, guests who declined are skipped, and you can drag anyone back.
Split a party across tables
In the Guests tab, open the guest's menu and choose Seat across tables. Add a line per table with its seats (Another table adds one) until everyone is seated, then click Save seating.
At the door
The table appears on the scanner when the guest is checked in, so staff can point them the right way.
- On the seating board, click Print.
- Choose what to print: Table cards, Place cards, Seating chart or Floor map.
- Pick a Style — Classic, Modern, Elegant, Minimal or Bold — and choose your branding: logo, event name, date and time, venue name, section colour and a QR to your event page.
- Under Paper and content, choose Letter or A4, Skip empty tables, and One place card per seat (off gives one per party).
- Click Print. To get a file, choose “Save as PDF” as the destination.
Your choices are kept for this venue.
