Show your books and courses to guests
Set up your own books, courses or merch once on the Promote page and they appear in your guest emails, on the guest page and on the event page.
Add a promotion
- Open Promote in the sidebar.
- In the Promotions card, click Add a promotion.
- Fill in the Title, a short Blurb, the link to your store, the Button text and, if you like, a Price (shown exactly as you type it).
- Optional: turn on Spanish version and fill in Title (Spanish), Blurb (Spanish), Link (Spanish) and Button (Spanish). Guests who read in Spanish get those words and that link.
- Use Add a cover for a picture. It's shown whole, never cropped — PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 400 KB.
- Click Create.
The preview, As guests see it, updates as you type. A workspace can hold up to 12 promotions.
Where they appear
All your active promotions, in the order on the Promote page:
- under the invitation, the reminder and your notes to guests (emails);
- on each guest's invitation page, under the QR;
- on the public event page;
- on your tour pages.
Use Move up and Move down to change the order, and the switch on each row to hide or show one without deleting it. Then switch them on for the events that should carry them (see below).
Per event
Promotions live on the workspace, but each event starts with them off, so nothing appears on an event you didn't choose. To show them on one event:
- Open the event's Page tab.
- In Promotions and tour, switch on Show my promotions on this event. The switch stays greyed out until you add a promotion on the Promote page.
- Set a Heading such as “Books by Carlos”. Leave it empty for the default, From the organiser.
- Click Save.
See how they do
Each promotion shows Emails sent, Page views and Clicks. The event's Attendance tab shows the split for that event.
