Set up the page

  1. Open Venues, pick the venue and open the event.
  2. Go to the Page tab.
  3. Switch the page on (the switch reads Page on).
  4. Fill in what guests need: - Welcome — a few lines about the night. Leave it blank to use the event description. - Programme — one item per line, time first (19:00 Doors open). A line without a time becomes a heading. - Address — street and city. The page adds an Open in Maps link. - Good to know — parking, dress code, what to bring, where to ask.
  5. Under Poster, drop your flyer (PNG, JPEG or WebP). It's shown whole at the top of the page and of each guest's invitation page, in the invitation and reminder emails (switch In the invitation and reminder emails off to leave it out), and as the picture when the link is shared. Fill in What it says for guests using a screen reader.
  6. Turn on Show food, drinks and stands to list your vendors with their stand. Your sponsors are always on the page, by tier.
  7. Click Save page.

The Preview next to the editor shows your changes before you save.

Share it

Once the page is live, its address appears at the top of the tab, at /e/<slug>:

  • Copy link puts it on your clipboard for social posts, chats or your newsletter.
  • Open shows the page as guests see it.
  • QR to the page is the same QR printed on the table cards. Use Download PNG for a poster, a slide or the bar menu.

What guests see

The page shows the event name, venue, date and time, plus everything you filled in. If public registration is open, the page includes the sign-up form; otherwise it says entry is by invitation and shows no form. See Let guests register themselves.

Already host your event's page somewhere else? In the event's Edit dialog, fill in Event page for guests with your own link. When the VenueWS page is off, printed QRs go to that link instead.

The Page tab also has the Promotions and tour card, where you choose whether your books and courses appear on this event and which tour it belongs to. See Show your books and courses and Tours.
