Open registration for an event

  1. Open the event and click the Event actions menu (⋯), then Edit.
  2. Tick Let guests register themselves. This creates a public page you can share; each guest gets their own QR.
  3. Optional: under Approval, tick Approve each registration to hold registrations until you approve them.
  4. Set Max party size — how many people one registration may bring (1 to 50).
  5. Click Save.

The event now shows a Public registration is on banner with the link. Use Copy link to share it, or Open page to see it. If the event page is on, the form appears there too.

Approve or decline registrations

When approval is on, new sign-ups wait with the status Awaiting approval.

  1. On the event's Guests tab, filter the list by Awaiting approval.
  2. Open a guest's actions menu and choose Approve or Decline.

An approved guest is sent their invitation with the QR. Without approval, guests get their QR straight away.

Venue rules

An admin sets the defaults for every event at a venue:

  1. Go to Venues, open the venue and choose Settings.
  2. Under Public registration: - Let events open a public registration page — when off, no event at this venue can be opened to the public, and any link already shared stops working. - Approve registrations by default — new events start with the approval queue on. Each event can still decide for itself. - Default max party size — used unless the event overrides it.
  3. Click Save changes.

WhatsApp opt-in

If WhatsApp is set up and the venue has Also send over WhatsApp on, the form shows a Send my pass on WhatsApp too box. Guests who tick it give their number and get their QR and a reminder on WhatsApp. Without the tick, the number isn't stored. See Send passes on WhatsApp.
