Sponsors: visibility across your events
Put a sponsor on one event, a tour or a season at a tier, run their card in every guest's emails and pages, and share a report of what they got.
A sponsor pays to be seen — a bank, a beer brand, a car dealer. That's different from a vendor, who serves at the event (food trucks, caterers, drinks); vendors are in their own book.
Add a sponsor
- Open Sponsors in the sidebar and click New sponsor (or use Add sponsor on an event's Sponsors tab).
- Fill in the name, Website and Category, then open it again to upload the logo.
Put them on events: a sponsorship
On the sponsor's page, click Add sponsorship and choose:
- Tier — Presenting, Gold, Silver, Partner or your own name, and its Exposure:
- Presenting — “Presented by” with their logo at the top of the event page, the guest page and the emails, and their card in every one.
- Major — their card whenever there's room (three cards at most), and a large logo on the event page.
- Supporting — their card rotates fairly with the others; their logo is on the event page.
- Which events — Events I pick, A tour (every stop, including ones added later, and the tour page) or A date range (every event starting in those days, at one venue or all).
- Exclusive in their category — no other sponsor of the same category appears at those events.
- Goal: times seen — what you promised them. The sponsorship shows whether it's on pace, or behind.
- Price and Paid, for your records. VenueWS doesn't charge the sponsor.
One event at a time is on every plan; several events, a tour or a date range are on paid plans.
Their card
Under Their ads, click New ad: a Headline, a Line, the Web address and the Button, and a picture if you like. It runs at every event their sponsorships cover — or set Runs at to keep it to one event. It appears under Our sponsors in the invitation, the reminder and your notes, and on each guest's invitation page.
What they got
The sponsor's page shows Times seen (emails sent and pages seen), Guests reached (different people), Clicks and Reached and came (of those reached, how many came in), where they were seen, the last 30 days and each event. Download CSV has it by event.
Copy report link gives the sponsor their own page with the same numbers, no login needed. Guests are counted, never named.
In emails, a guest who already got a supporting sponsor's card is more likely to see a different one next time. Presenting sponsors are also named on the guest's Apple and Google Wallet pass.
