A guest who hasn't signed the waiver, at the door
The scanner stops them and offers two ways through: sign on the door phone, or get the link onto their own phone — a QR, or sent by email, WhatsApp or text.
When a guest's QR is scanned and they (or the next person in their party) haven't signed, the screen turns amber — Waiver not signed — with two buttons.
Sign here on this phone
Hand them the phone. They read it, tick the box, type their name and tap Accept and admit; the next scan happens by itself. A parent or guardian can sign for a child. With no signal this still works: the signature is kept on the phone and uploaded first when it's back.
Sign on their own phone
- Show a QR: they point their camera at the scanner's screen, sign on their phone, and show their QR again.
- Send a link: Email, WhatsApp or Text. Send to uses what's on the invitation (shown masked); or type the address or number the guest gives you. Someone after the holder gets the link for their own place in the party, not the holder's QR.
WhatsApp needs your WhatsApp number set up; texts need Twilio connected.
