Upgrade, downgrade or cancel your plan
Change plan or billing cycle through PayPal, cancel any time, and know what happens to your data.
Upgrade
- Go to Plan and pick an option under Three ways to pay (Start {plan} or Switch to {plan}), or go straight to Billing → Change plan.
- Click Upgrade to {plan}.
- Read the summary and click Continue to PayPal, then approve in PayPal.
Upgrades apply as soon as PayPal confirms — usually within a minute. Reload the page if it still shows the old plan. VenueWS keeps no card on file; payment is through PayPal only.
Switch between monthly and yearly
On the Plan page, use the Monthly / Yearly toggle and click Switch to {plan}. PayPal asks you to approve the new subscription, and the old one is cancelled the moment the new one is active — you're never charged for both.
Downgrade
On Billing → Change plan, click Downgrade to {plan} and continue to PayPal. Your current limits stay until the end of the paid period; the new price applies from the next charge.
Cancel
- On Billing, click Cancel subscription.
- Optionally tell us why, then click Cancel subscription again (or Keep my plan).
You keep your plan until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that the workspace moves to Free.
What happens to your data
Nothing is deleted. Anything above the Free limits — extra venues, events, team members — stays as it is, but you can't add more until you're back within the limits.
If a payment fails
The Billing page shows a warning. Update your payment method in PayPal (Manage in PayPal) to keep your plan; otherwise it drops to Free.
Need more than the listed plans? Enterprise is quoted — click Talk to us on the Plan page. Plan-change emails go to the PayPal payer's address.
