Pay for one event with an event pass
Buy a pass for a single event, apply it, and grow it if you need more seats — no subscription.
Buy a pass
- Go to Plan and find Event passes.
- Click Buy an event pass.
- Pick the number of Seats (invited people) with the − and + buttons. Add a Promo code or tick Nonprofit if they apply.
- Click Pay {amount} with PayPal and approve in PayPal.
The pass reaches your workspace within a minute of PayPal confirming. Reload the Plan page if it isn't listed under Your passes yet.
You can also buy from an event: on the Free plan, the seat strip under the event's header has a Buy an event pass button, and a pass bought there is applied to that event when it arrives.
Apply a pass to an event
- When you create the event: type the code from your receipt in Event pass code (optional) in the New event dialog.
- For an event that already exists: on the Plan page, under Your passes, click Apply to an event on an Unused pass and pick the event.
Each event takes one pass. Unused passes show when they expire.
What a pass covers
A pass covers its event's seats up to the pass's size. Those seats sit outside your plan's seat count, and the event doesn't use an active-event slot. Every feature is included, and the Plan page shows how many scanner devices and team members come with a pass.
Grow a pass
When a pass fills up, new invitations for that event are refused until you grow it. On the event page, click Grow pass, pick the new size, and you pay only the difference.
Running several events a year? The Plan page tells you when a yearly plan becomes cheaper than passes. For extra capacity on a single night without a pass, see the one-off extras card on the Billing page.
