Make an event repeat every day or every week
Turn a weekly night or a daily tour into a series: VenueWS creates the next occurrence on its own once the current one ends.
Set up a series
- Create the event as usual with New event, or open an existing one and choose Edit from the ⋯ menu.
- Under Repeats, pick Every day or Every week.
- Optionally set Repeat until. Blank means it keeps repeating.
- Save. The event shows a Repeats daily or Repeats weekly badge next to its name.
What happens next
- The next occurrence is created automatically once the current one ends, one day or one week later, at the same time.
- Only one future occurrence exists at a time, so a series never takes more than one slot of your plan's active events.
- The new occurrence copies the event's settings: capacity, re-entry, guest language, reminder, registration options and the default invitation window (shifted to the new date). The tables, the floor plan and the waiver come along too.
- Guests are not copied. Each occurrence starts with an empty guest list, so invite or import guests for each date — or keep public registration on so they sign up themselves.
- When the next date would fall after Repeat until, the series stops.
Stop a series
Open the latest occurrence, choose Edit and set Repeats to Does not repeat. Past occurrences stay as they are.
Tip: if your plan has no free active-event slot when an occurrence ends, the next one is not created yet; VenueWS tries again later. Archiving old events frees slots.
