The thank-you message: channels, timing and sending again
Thank the guests who came by email, WhatsApp or text — automatically after the event or by hand — and send it again to everyone or only to whoever it never reached.
Set it up
On the event's Guests tab, the Thank-you card shows what will go out and to how many. Click Set up (or Edit):
- When: automatically a set time after the event ends, or by hand.
- Channels: tick Email, WhatsApp, Text (SMS). Each says how many guests it reaches and whether it's connected; a channel that isn't connected is listed but can't be picked.
- Text only as a fallback: on by default, a text goes only to guests that email and WhatsApp can't reach. Switch it off to text everyone with a phone.
- Subject and message: your words; each guest gets them with their name.
The line under the card tells you, before anything goes out, how many guests would get it now, on which channel, and how many are out of reach on the channels you picked.
Who gets it
Everyone on the list who came in through the door (or joined online), including guests whose invitation has since expired — the event is over, so that's most of them. Private guests are never messaged. Each guest gets it on one channel: email first, then WhatsApp, then text (or text to all, if the fallback is off).
Send it again
Once sent, the card shows N sent and offers Send again:
- Only those it never reached — latecomers added to the list after the send, and guests whose message failed. Picked by default when there are any.
- Everyone again — the whole audience, for a second message or a corrected one.
Each send is listed in Messages with who it reached, by channel, and who opened the link.
"Sent to 0 guests" used to mean the only channel picked couldn't reach anyone (an email-only thank-you to a text-only crowd). The line under the card now tells you that before you send.
