Private guests: no email, no phone, just their name
Add the artist, the family, the investor without any contact details: nothing is sent to them, the door finds them by name, asks for a check word if you set one, and can let them in without a waiver.
Add a private guest
- On the event, click Invite guest, type their name (and party size), and open Private guest & door.
- Switch on Private guest. Nothing is ever sent to them — no email, text or WhatsApp, and they're left out of messages to all guests.
- Optional: - Note for the door — "Back entrance, ask for María", "check ID". The door sees it on the scan and in the guest list. - Check word — type one or click Generate. Pass it to the guest through whoever invited them. - Waive the waiver for this guest — only when the event requires one. Say why; who waived it and when is kept with the event's waivers. Without a signature the venue carries the risk for that guest.
- Click Issue invitation. The dialog shows the QR (pass it on yourself if you like) and the check word.
To change any of it later, use Private guest & door… in the guest's row menu. Private (n) filters the list to them; the Guests page has a Private guests filter.
At the door
The doorman opens Guest list in the scanner and types the name. Private guests come first, with their note. If they have a check word, Admit asks for it first ("Don't read it out — let them say it"); a wrong word doesn't get in. Their QR, if they have it, works like any other and never asks for the word.
With no signal the guest list searches the phone's saved list, checks the word there, and uploads the admission later.
On the record
The waiver tab lists Waived by the organiser with each reason, who decided and when, and the waivers CSV includes them.
